ELIGIBILITY

AAS-in-Asia 2018 is designed to showcase the print publications, educational materials, digital services, and Asian Studies programs and services for our members and attendees.
To fulfill this goal, the association reserves the right to review all requests for advertisement space for eligibility. All applications are subject to approval by the organizers based on the following criteria: 
1. The items or information to be advertised relate to the purpose of AAS and are consistent and compatible with the AAS values and goals.
2. The advertisement relates to the purpose of the conference, topics of the various sessions, and interest of AAS members and conference attendees.






PRINT ADVERTISING

The Organizers reserve advertisement space on a first-come, first-served basis. Ads are placed in the Conference Program in the sequence of the order received.
Published in conjunction with the AAS-in-Asia 2018 Conference, the Conference Program is distributed to all conference attendees. As the official guide to the annual conference, the Program lists all sessions, activities, meetings, and receptions held during the four-day conference.  Attendees, especially session participants, often retain the Program as a record of the event and as a professional resource. Additionally, a PDF copy of the full Program is posted on the website for full public viewing in perpetuity.

DIGITAL ADVERTISING:

CONFERENCE WEBSITE BANNER AD - $150/MONTH (9750 INR/MONTH)

AAS-in-Asia 2018 is pleased to offer conference website banner ads. We offer a variety of pricing options (one month, three months, six months, etc.). Banner Ads will display on any 2 conference pages of the advertiser’s choice, except the conference home page (with an option to upgrade for presence on the Conference home page as well). Please email the Conference Manager to place your banner ad or for more information about the conference. Please note that this rate is not inclusive of Goods and Service Tax (GST) and merchant gateway fees.

CONFERENCE WEBSITE TILE AD - $100/MONTH (6500 INR/MONTH)

AAS-in-Asia 2018 is pleased to offer conference website tile ads. Featured on the homepage of the conference website, the tile ad would be visible below the fold for all conference website visitors. We offer a variety of pricing options (one month, three months etc.). Please email the Conference Manager to place your tile ad or for more information about the conference.  Please note that this rate is not inclusive of Goods and Service Tax (GST) and merchant gateway fees.






EMAIL ADVERTISING:

CONFERENCE E-FLYER – 200$/FLYER (13000 INR/FLYER)

The Conference E-Flyer allows exhibitors and advertisers the opportunity to send an electronic version of your ad directly to the email inbox of all registered conference attendees (approx. 600).  Electronic flyers are sent in the 2-3 week time frame immediately prior to the Annual Conference. This is a limited opportunity. There are a total of 6 dates available; with only one (1) E-Flyer sent per day. Please note that this rate is not inclusive of Goods and Service Tax (GST) and merchant gateway fees.

PAYMENT TERMS

Full payment of the program advertisement is required for the placement of any advertisements.  Payments received in full with be confirmed immediately.
Advertisers requesting an invoice must pay the invoice within 20 days of receipt. Failure to pay the reserved ad space by the due date will result in cancellation of the advertisement reservation and the ad not being placed in the conference program.
The organizers reserve the right to cancel advertisement reservations without any notice. Please note that the rates quoted are not inclusive of Goods and Service Tax (GST) and merchant gateway fees.






CANCELLATIONS

All cancellations must be made in writing to the Conference Manager.
If the conference manager receives notification on or before May 1, 2018, the organizers will refund 90% of the total amount paid for your advertisement reservation.
Cancellation requests received between May 2, 2018 and on or before June 1st, 2018, 50% of the total amount paid will be refunded. No refunds will be made after June 1st, 2018. 
Note: If the advertisement was reserved in combination with a table reservation, and the company received a $50 discount on the table (and the table reservation is not cancelled), the $50 discount will also be withheld from the advertisement refund amount.
If the company has reserved multiple advertisements, and received $50 discounts on the 2nd and additional advertisements, the refund amount will reflect the discounted amount (less 10%/50% admin fee; whichever applies). For example; if the company reserves two full-page advertisement spaces at $200 and $150, and the company requests a refund for one ad, the refund will be applied to the discounted ad first at $150 less 10%/50%).
