After breakfast, you’ll be picked up from your own pre-booked hotel/residence by our Driver/Representative and drop at IGI airport to catch flight for Jodhpur- Known as Blue city of India.
On arrival, check into your hotel. Later proceed to visit Fort of Jodhpur, the former capital of Marwar state founded in 1459 by Rao Jodha. visit the Mehrangarh Fort spread over 5 kilometers on a steep hill and looking down 125 meters. The fort appears rugged and impenetrable from the outside, but houses some of the most intricately adorned palaces with exquisitely carved panels and latticed windows, Moti Mahal, Phool Mahal, Sheesh Mahal are some of the areas worth exploring.
Jaswant Thada - A collection of royal cenotaphs, built in while marble, lies very close to the Mehrangarh Fort. Built in 1899 in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh. The tranquility of the marble construction is enchanting. The carvings are intricate. Inside Jaswant Thada, you will find portraits of the Rathore rulers. The grounds of Jaswant Thada consist of a stunning multilevel garden, intricately carved gazebos and a pond.
Umaid Bhawan - The construction of Umaid Bhawan Palace was started in the year 1929 and it was completed in 1943. The palace is situated on the highest point in the city. The 347-roomed massive palace is named one of the largest private residences in the world. The palace boasts of a combination of Indian and European style of architecture. A part of the palace still serves as a residence to the former royal family, while other two parts of the palace are converted into Taj Palace Hotel and museum. The museum is open to the public, while the hotel is only accessible to the guests and the entry to the residence is prohibited.
Clock Tower is a famous landmark in the Old City. It was constructed by Maharaja Sardar Singh during his tenure between 1880 and 1911. The clock tower offers a good view of the fort. Sardar Market is adjacent to Clock Tower where a wide range of products is sold. You can find handicrafts, saris, spices, vegetables and a lot more. There are over 7000 shops and you can have a great shopping experience here. Overnight at hotel in Jodhpur.
Day 2: Jodhpur-Ranakpur-Udaipur [260 Km/Approx. 5 Hrs]
After breakfast, you will travel to Udaipur. En route visit Ranakpur Jain Temples, an exceptionally beautiful excursion through the rugged, wooded hills of Rajasthan to the Jain Temples of Ranakpur in the Aravalli Valley, to see one of the best complexes of Jain religion, which is particularly noted for the grandiose scale of its architecture and the highly decorated ceilings, walls and 1444 different pillars. The priests of the temples did all the temple designing and their successive generations are still continuing the work.
Continue drive to Udaipur – Known as lake city of India. On arrival, check into the hotel. Evening free for leisure. Over night stay in hotel.
Day 3: Udaipur Sightseeing
After breakfast, you will start your tour with Eklingji & Nagda (25 KM from Udaipur city). Eklingi is a Hindu temple complex more than 1300 years old. There are 108 shrines within the temple complex, filigree-like in appearance, and made of sandstone and marble. The temple deity, Eklingji, is a form of Lord Shiva and is the ruling deity of Mewar.
Saas Bahu Temple - suggests 'Mother-in-law and Daughter-in-law' respectively; complex includes a cluster of temples dedicated to Lord Vishnu, over 1000 years old..
City Palace - was constructed in the year 1559 by Maharana Udai Mirza Singh. The palace is situated on the banks of Pichola Lake and is a blend of European, Medieval and Chinese styles of architecture. City Palace houses 11 magnificent palaces and they were all constructed during various periods and by various rulers. The size of the palace is awe inspiring with the courtyards, terraces, pavilions, hanging gardens and a lot more. Everything about the palace is magnificent be it the architecture, the antiques inside and the exclusive paintings hanging on the walls.
Saheliyon Ki Bari (Garden of Companions) - Built by Sangram Singh II as a gift to queen and her maids, it is a beautiful sight to behold. The king designed the garden himself and strived to make it a relaxation place where the queen could relax with her 48 maids. The garden still serves its purpose in many ways and people come to this place to escape the chaos of the city.
Bagore Ki Haveli - is situated near Pichola Lake. The 18th century construction was built by Amir Chand Badwa, Chief Minister at the Royal Court of Mewar. The Haveli became the residence of Maharana Shakti Singh of Bagore in the year 1878 and hence the name Bagore Ki Haveli. This was converted into museum retaining the royal touch to the building. The museum presents the culture of Mewar. The antique collections include the stuff used by Rajputs such as jewellery boxes, hand fans, copper vessels and so on. The massive building has over 100 rooms and looks splendid with its unique style of architecture. When you are there, make sure you present yourself for the shows conducted here in the evenings.
Lake Pichola - An artificial lake created in 1362 AD. Rana Udai Singh II extended the lake in 16th century. The picturesque lake is surrounded by huge hills, magnificent palaces, temples and bathing ghats. The islands in Lake Pichola offer various tourist attractions and hence by cruising in Lake Pichola, you are sure to have a whale of a time. Sunset views are stunning.
Boat cruise offers lovely views of the town, particularly in the evenings as you watch the sun go down on your eyes, you will find the city lit up. The palaces look stunning with the lights on and it is a great view from the lake.
Enjoy evening Boat ride in Lake Pichola (Shared). Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 4: UDAIPUR - NEW DELHI [by flight 9W 823 : 12:55/14:10]
After breakfast, we will transfer you to the Udaipur Airport to board flight for New Delhi, you’ll then connect your flight to take back home.
