Begin your private guided tour after you are picked up at 9:30 am. Sightseeing in New Delhi, the landmark sites of Rajpath. Start with the citadel of Lutyens' Delhi, the Rashtrapati Bhavan. Spread over 330 acres, the structure was designed by renowned British architect Lutyens as the official residence of the Viceroy of India during the British rule till 1950. It is now the official residence of the First Citizen of India - the President, also visiting Parliament House, home to the highest law-making body in India. the Parliament House is a circular colonnaded building. It currently houses ministerial offices, numerous committee rooms, and an excellent library. Conceived in the Imperial Style, the Parliament House consists of an open verandah with 144 columns. This is at a walking distance. Admiring the beauty of the arterial roads like the Rajpath, stop for photo shot at India Gate (the War memorial) 42- Metre-high monument erected as a memorial in honor of 70,000 Indian soldiers , fighting for the British Army, martyred at the North-West Frontier during World War I and Afghan Wars in 1919. The structure was built under the leadership of Sir Edwin Lutyens. The architectural complex is made of red stone and granite.
Humayun's Tomb (A UNESCO World Heritage Site), the tomb is an early example of Mughal architecture. This tomb is of great interest in relation to the architecture of Taj Mahal.
Qutub Minar, (A UNESCO World Heritage Site), the Qutub Minar is a soaring tower of victory. It construction was commenced in 1193, immediately after the defeat of the last Hindu Kingdom in Delhi. It's nearly 73 meters high and tapers from a 15-meter-diameter base to just 2.5 meters at the top.
